About Changi Chapel and Museum
The museum sits at 1000 Upper Changi Road North, on land tied to the wartime Changi camp. The chapel on site is a reconstruction modelled after St George's Church, one of the churches POWs built. It is not the original St Luke's Chapel, which was later moved to the UK. Hours: Tuesday to Sunday 9:30–17:30, last admission 17:00. Closed Monday except public holidays. Singapore citizens and PRs free with NRIC. Tourist adult S$9 plus GST, concession S$7, children 6 and below free, family of 5 S$27 at the counter. Cashless payments only from 1 April 2025. Book at v360.nhb.gov.sg. A S$2 discount applies with a valid National Museum or Reflections at Bukit Chandu stub for three months. On 11 September 2026 the museum closes from 14:00 for Heritage in Harmony, with limited parking. Pair with Johore Battery nearby. Changi Prison itself is still a prison and is not this site.
