The key question: are you transiting (airside, no immigration) or have you cleared immigration into Singapore? Transit-area hotels need you to stay airside; public-area hotels need you to clear immigration first. Pick the right section below.

Frequently asked questions

Transit or public area — which hotel do I need?
If you are connecting between flights and have not cleared Singapore immigration, you can only use the transit-area hotels: Changi Transit Hotel (T1), Ambassador Transit Hotel (T2/T3), or JetQuay Sleeping Suite. If you have cleared immigration and entered Singapore, use YOTELAIR at Jewel or Crowne Plaza at T3. The biggest mistake travellers make is clearing immigration and then realising their transit-hotel booking is airside.
Can I book a room for just a few hours?
Yes — all the transit hotels offer flexible hours. Changi Transit Hotel and Ambassador offer day-room options for short stays; YOTELAIR at Jewel books cabins from 4 hours; JetQuay Sleeping Suite offers a 6-hour package (S$120, S$20/hour extension) or S$200 for 10–22 hours.
How do I book?
Contact each hotel directly by phone or email, or book via their websites (linked on each card above). The transit hotels (Changi Transit Hotel, Ambassador) can also be researched via the official Changi transit hotels page.
Is there a free place to sleep instead?
Yes — Changi operates free 24/7 Snooze Lounges in the transit area of all four terminals (see Airport Lounges). They are rest areas, not beds, but they are free and open to all transit passengers. For a private room with a shower, book one of the hotels on this page.
Can I use the rooftop pool without staying overnight?
Changi Transit Hotel guests get access to the rooftop swimming pool and fitness facilities at T1. Pool access is sometimes available to non-guests for a fee — check directly with the hotel via +65 6701 1185 for current day-pass availability.
