The Pokémon Company has confirmed that Singapore is the third stop on its PokéXciting! Asia tour, a five-city circuit marking 30 years since the original Game Boy release in 1996. The main event runs Saturday 7 November to Sunday 8 November 2026 across Changi Airport Terminal 3 and Jewel Changi Airport, with free admission. A longer shopping and decoration campaign runs from 3 November 2026 through to Lunar New Year 2027, so the venue stays dressed in Pokémon themed décor long after the parade weekend ends.

PokéXciting Pikachu blue costume variation for Singapore announced for the Pokémon 30th Anniversary Asia tour at Changi Airport

The headline is the Pokémon Parade at Jewel's Forest Valley, which brings all 27 first partner Pokémon from the nine mainline generations together in one place. The Pokémon Company has called this a first for the franchise. Pikachu also gets a Singapore-exclusive costume variant, a blue PokéXciting! Pikachu that will only appear at the Changi and Jewel leg of the tour. Each of the five cities on the tour gets a different colour, and Singapore's is blue.

What happens on 7 and 8 November

The two-day weekend is the parade and stage show portion. The Pokémon Parade runs at the Shiseido Forest Valley inside Jewel, with the 27 first partner Pokémon, which range from the Gen 1 Kanto starters Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle through to the Gen 9 Sprigatito, Fuecoco and Quaxly, marching in time to music. The parade is the headline photo moment of the weekend, and the Forest Valley's terraced walkways give multiple viewing angles above the Rain Vortex.

Pokémon stage show at Changi Airport Terminal 3 featuring PokéXciting Pikachu as part of the 30th anniversary Asia tour

At Changi Airport Terminal 3, the PokéXciting! Stage runs special stage shows featuring the blue PokéXciting! Pikachu, with the Pokémon Company promising danceable beats and a full production. The T3 Departure Hall also hosts a Pokémon Experience Zone where visitors can play Pokémon titles on Nintendo Switch 2 and try Pokémon Trading Card Game trial-play sessions for free. Meet and Greet sessions with costumed Pokémon characters run at the T3 Departure Hall across the weekend.

A Pokémon GO collaboration is also confirmed, with the PokéXciting! Pikachu scheduled to appear in-game during the event window, so the weekend is one of the rare moments where the physical event and the mobile game sync up in Singapore. Charge your phone before you go.

The shopping campaign that outlasts the parade

The parade weekend is the showpiece, but the commercial campaign runs for close to four months. From 3 November 2026, shoppers at participating Changi Airport and Jewel outlets who present a qualifying receipt can redeem or purchase original Pokémon merchandise with unique designs tied to this event. The campaign runs until 31 January 2027 at Jewel and 28 February 2027 at Changi Airport.

Exclusive Pokémon 30th anniversary merchandise available at Changi Airport and Jewel including plush toys thermal bottle and travel blanket

The merchandise is split by location. Changi Airport only carries cabin-sized luggage and check-in luggage with Pokémon branding. Jewel carries an umbrella with a waterproof sleeve, plus the plush toys, thermal bottle and travel blanket with bag that are available at both locations. The designs are not generic Pokémon stock; they are tied to the PokéXciting! Singapore edition of the blue Pikachu, so they will not be reissued at the later tour stops in Manila and Bangkok.

Christmas themed Pokémon decorations go up across Changi Airport from 3 November and stay through the end of 2026, after which Lunar New Year themed Pokémon decorations take over in early 2027. At Jewel, a Pokémon Trading Card Game Quiz Rally runs across the mall, with enlarged displays of individual TCG cards each featuring one of the 27 first partner Pokémon. Complete the quiz based on the displayed cards and collect a prize.

Where to be, and when

For the parade weekend itself, the flow is Terminal 3 for the stage shows, Meet and Greet, and the Pokémon Experience Zone, then Jewel for the parade and the TCG Quiz Rally. The two are a five to eight minute walk apart on the travelators, with the Rain Vortex and Forest Valley as the connecting landmark. If you are going for the parade specifically, aim for the earlier slot in the day; the Forest Valley railings fill fast, and the higher walkways give the cleaner camera angle over the costumed Pokémon.

If you want the merchandise without the weekend crowds, the campaign runs for months after the parade. The luggage is only at Changi, and the umbrella is only at Jewel, so a single trip to one location will not get you the full set. The nearest MRT is Changi Airport (CGA), with the underpass linking directly to Jewel's Level 1 and the travelators to T3. Admission to the parade, stage shows, Meet and Greet, and Pokémon Experience Zone is free.
