Check-In Information
Early Check-In
Select airlines offer early check-in up to 24 hours before departure at Jewel Level 1 Early Check-In Lounge. Drop your bags and explore Jewel or the terminals baggage-free.
Operating hours: Daily, check with your airline for availability.
Self Check-In Kiosks
Automated kiosks are available in all terminals for check-in and baggage tag printing. Most airlines support self check-in — scan your passport or enter your booking reference.
T4: Fully automated check-in and bag drop — no traditional counters.
Inter-Terminal Transfer
Skytrain
Free automated people mover connecting T1, T2 and T3 in both public and transit areas. Travel time: 5–10 minutes between terminals. Operating hours: 5:00 AM–2:00 AM. Outside those hours, walk via travellators (transit) or link bridges (public).
Free Shuttle Bus
Connects T4 to T1/Jewel and T2/MRT. Public shuttle every 5–9 minutes from 6:00 AM to 12:00 AM (~10 min journey); transit shuttle roughly every 8 minutes at all hours. See the terminal transfer guide.

Check Terminal Carefully
Airlines may operate from different terminals depending on the route. Always confirm your terminal on the Changi website or app before travelling.
Gate Closure Times
Gates typically close 15–20 minutes before departure. Some T4 gates close 30 minutes before — check your boarding pass.
Transit Passengers
Connecting at Changi? The Skytrain connects T1, T2 and T3 transit areas. T4 transit passengers use the free shuttle bus (landside).
Flight Delays
If your flight is delayed, enjoy free amenities: snooze lounges, butterfly garden (T3), sunflower garden (T2), movie theatres (T2/T3) and more.
Online Check-In
Most airlines offer online check-in 24–48 hours before departure. Complete it early to choose your seat and save time at the airport.
