Craftholic and Mofmofriends Pop-Up Shop at Changi T3 and T4
Six Japanese kawaii brands have landed in a single pop-up at Changi Airport Terminals 3 and 4. Running 9 July to 10 September 2026 in the public Departure Hall Level 2 area, the Craftholic Singapore pop-up is the first time the Craftholic and MofmoFriends brands share a retail footprint in Singapore with Umino Ikimono, Tabisuru Mameshiba, The Dog, and Max Limited. Entry is free, no boarding pass required, and every qualifying spend enters a sure-win lucky draw.
The pop-up is open 10:00am to 10:00pm daily, so it works for after-work visits from the city as well as traveller stopovers. Here is what each brand actually sells, how the lucky draw works, and what the pop-up does not do.
The Six Brands Sharing the Floor
The lineup mixes established plush houses with niche Japanese collectible labels. Each occupies its own branded section of the pop-up.
Craftholic is the namesake brand, created by Ikuko Yamamoto. It is best known for its hugging cushions and characters Rab and Sloth, which started as plush toys and have since expanded across lifestyle merchandise. The Craftholic section carries the core cushion range plus newer character goods.
MofmoFriends carries the "mofumofu" concept, the Japanese onomatopoeia for something soft and fuzzy. Each plush is designed around a friendly gaze and a huggable form factor. The brand sits beside Craftholic as the co-headliner.
Umino Ikimono brings marine and creature-themed goods. Tabisuru Mameshiba covers the travelling Mameshiba characters. The Dog is the fisheye-lens photography brand that turned expressive dog breeds into plush companions, with each plush capturing that signature wide-angle look. Max Limited rounds out the lineup with anime merchandise and collectibles from series including Demon Slayer, Dandadan, and Tougen Anki, spanning plush mascots to character figures.
How the Sure-Win Lucky Draw Works
The pop-up runs a sure-win lucky draw tied to spend at the pop-up itself. Every qualifying purchase earns a chance to participate, and because it is structured as sure-win rather than a sweepstake, every participant walks away with something. The draw is the main incentive for visitors who are already at the airport for the National Day programme or the Changi Shopping Carnival running in parallel.
Prize tiers and exact qualifying spend thresholds are posted at the pop-up itself. The draw runs for the full duration of the pop-up, so there is no advantage to visiting on a particular weekend beyond stock availability of limited-edition plushies.
What This Pop-Up Does Not Qualify For
The official Changi Airport events page is explicit about three exclusions, and they matter for anyone trying to stack promotions. Payments at this pop-up do not qualify for Changi Rewards points. GST absorption does not apply here, so the 2XGST double tax-absorption weekends running in the wider terminal do not extend to pop-up purchases. And the pop-up is not included in any current Changi shopping promotions, including the Changi Shopping Carnival game kiosk plays.
If you are planning a layered visit where you hit the National Day mascot meet-and-greets at ST3PS, do a 2XGST shopping run at the participating retail outlets, and then drop into this pop-up, treat the Craftholic pop-up as a separate spend. The receipts from the pop-up will not feed back into the other Changi promotions.
Getting There and Timing the Visit
The pop-up sits in the public area of the airport at T3 and T4 Departure Halls Level 2. That means no boarding pass is needed to visit. From Changi Airport MRT station on the East-West Line and Changi Airport branch line, Terminal 3 is a short walk via the link bridge. Terminal 4 is reached via the free shuttle bus that runs from Terminal 2, and the shuttle operates every few minutes during airport hours.
For travellers departing from T3 or T4, the pop-up is before immigration, so it is accessible before check-in or after landing. For visitors coming from the city, the public-area location means you can treat it as a weekend outing without needing a flight. The 10:00am to 10:00pm daily hours give a wide window, and weekday evenings are noticeably quieter than National Day weekend.
