Terminal 3 Food Guide: Food Street, Kopitiam B2, Sit-Down Halls

T3 is the big glass box, and the food is split hard: a basement public Kopitiam and chain row on B2, sit-down restaurants on Level 3 public, and Singapore Food Street once you are airside. People get this wrong and walk to Food Street without a boarding pass.

Jewel

Only if you have time

If you only remember two names: Kopitiam B2 for cheap local landside, Food Street for hawker airside. Everything else — Paradise Dynasty, Korea Culture, Central Thai, Crown Prince — is a sit-down decision when you have 45 minutes.

T3 is also the easiest walk to Crowne Plaza and a short link toward Jewel. That is optional. Most connections should eat inside the terminal.

B2, Level 3, or Food Street

B2 public is the everyday floor: Kopitiam stalls (nasi lemak, ban mee, chicken rice), Tim Hortons, Hokkaido tarts, 4Fingers, Swensen’s, KOI. No boarding pass.

Level 3 public is restaurants — Paradise Dynasty, Korea Culture, Central Thai, Crown Prince / A-One claypot. Tables, bills, time.

Singapore Food Street is transit Level 3. Boarding pass required. That is the airside hawker street, not the B2 food court.

#B2-03 · Public basement · Stall hours vary; some run very late or 24h

The landside food court under the terminal. Nasi Lemak Ayam Taliwang (the Michelin-known coconut-rice chain) sits in this cluster, along with chicken rice, ban mee, claypot-adjacent plates. This is T3’s Kopitiam — cheaper and faster than anything on Level 3.

Called out separately because people search it. Chicken leg, coconut rice, sambal. If you want one named bowl on B2 rather than a random stall, this is it. Muslim-owned; check today’s mark and hours.

The xiao long bao restaurant on Level 3, not a kiosk. Come here for a send-off lunch, not a 20-minute dash. If you wanted dumplings airside, that is a different building — stay landside or budget the time.

Singapore Food Street

Level 3 · Transit · Stall hours vary

The airside street. This is why people say T3 has “hawker food after immigration.” Treat it like a market: one stall, one tray, sit. Do not confuse it with B2 Kopitiam — you cannot reach this without a boarding pass, and you cannot reach Kopitiam from here.

Pick by need

Cheap local, no boarding pass: Kopitiam B2, especially Taliwang nasi lemak.

Halal sit-down: Korea Culture, Central Thai.

Airside local: Singapore Food Street only.

Coffee and a bag: Tim Hortons or Ya Kun on B2; Bacha if you are already airside.

Questions people actually ask

Is Singapore Food Street public?
No. It is in the T3 transit area. Without a boarding pass, use Kopitiam on B2.
Where do I eat in T3 at 3 a.m.?
B2 stalls that claim 24 hours (often Taliwang / parts of Kopitiam) are the first place to check. Level 3 restaurants are usually closed. Confirm on the shop pages — T3 is not one kitchen.
Should I walk to Jewel from T3 instead?
Only with a long landside gap. Jewel’s restaurants are a different guide. For a normal check-in, stay in T3.
