Chivas Regal's T3 racing simulator stays until 26 October

Singapore Grand Prix weekend finished on 11 October. The Chivas Regal racing simulator in Terminal 3 departure transit did not. Changi 1st has it next to Lotte Duty Free until 26 October 2026. If you are flying out of T3 in the next ten days and you were going to walk past wines and spirits anyway, that is the leftover.

Traveller in a red seat using the Chivas Regal racing-car simulator in Changi Terminal 3 departure transit

Pernod Ricard Global Travel Retail built the pop-up with Lotte Duty Free Singapore and Changi Airport Group. Duty Free Hunter and Global Travel Retail Magazine both describe it as Chivas Regal's first racing-car simulator in Asia duty free. The seat is a red bucket. The wheel is a carbon-look Ferrari-style rim. The screen in the press photos is a Kunos Simulazioni track, which is the Assetto Corsa stack, not a branded F1 game overlay. You sit, you drive, you look slightly ridiculous in an airport, which is the point.

You do not just sit down. The published rule is a Chivas Regal purchase first. After the sim, the tasting bar is pouring the 16-year-old Charles Leclerc limited edition, the 18-year-old, or CrystalGold. That is the loop: buy, drive, taste. If you are not buying whisky, keep walking. The installation is still visible from the concourse. The gold luckenbooth graphics and chequered flags are hard to miss once you are in the Lotte wines and spirits bay.

The three bottles that pay for the seat

The 16-year-old is the one the campaign is built around. It is Chivas's first 16YO, blended with Charles Leclerc as a nod to his racing number, by master blender Sandy Hyslop. Changi's event page prices the 1 litre limited edition at S$146. The 18-year-old 1 litre is S$121.50, Colin Scott's blend, the one the brand still talks about as 85 flavour notes. CrystalGold is the clear spirit on the same table. The page calls it mixable and still oak-aged. It does not print a CrystalGold price. Ask at the till.

Chivas Regal bottles on P1, P2 and P3 podiums in the Terminal 3 Lotte Duty Free pop-up, with a 20 percent sign

Press photos from race week show a 20 percent sign on two bottles and above, for the Leclerc 16YO and CrystalGold 1 litre. Treat that as a campaign offer, not a promise through 26 October. Duty-free promotions get pulled the morning after a race. Check the ticket on the bottle.

Antonio Duva at Pernod Ricard GTR tied the Singapore run to earlier Grand Prix showcases in Miami and Monaco and to the Scuderia Ferrari HP partnership. Hung Jean at Changi Airport Group called it retailtainment for race week. Race week is over. The furniture is still there. That is the only reason this is still a T3 note and not a recap.

Airside, adult, and not the village

Same constraint as every T3 duty-free pop-up. You need a boarding pass and immigration behind you. Changi Airport MRT (CG2) gets you to the terminal. It does not get you to the simulator. There is no Jewel version, no CES ticket, no landside queue. If your flight is T2 or T4, this is not on your walk unless you divert through T3 transit, which most people should not do for a whisky sim.

Singapore's legal age for alcohol is 18. The simulator is inside a wines and spirits shop. Do not bring kids to "have a go". Lotte's T3 store is 24-hour adjacent to other transit F&B in the photos, including a 24-hour dining sign in the same frame. The Chivas booth itself follows the shop, not a separate ticket window. When Lotte is open, the flags are there. When it is not, 26 October is still the last advertised date.
